Goldie Headlocks was raised in New York State with 23 older brothers
who taught her the joys of playing bloody knuckles and kill the man
with the ball. Of these games she found that one was too hard and one
was too soft. It wasn’t until she strapped on a pair of skates that
anything felt just right.
