Dislikes: Peaches, cheap shoes from Payless, and being called a "wetback"
Favorite food: Beans, tequila, dog tacos from Tijuana, and Mexican beer
Little Nacha was forced to pick peaches all over California with her migrant farm-working family in exchange for a handful of beans and a spot on the hard linoleum floor to share with her four siblings for the night. The only constant thing in that errant lifestyle was being punked, teased, and beaten for being a nerd and for wearing cheap shoes from Payless. At the age of twelve, looking for a better life, her parents moved the family to the mean streets of South Central Los Angeles, where she had to dodge bullets and avoid crack-houses just to get to school. But Los Angeles was good to Nacha, it was there that she learned to fight back the bands of sign-flipping gang thugs giving out random initiation beatings, to drink tequila, and that she who laughs last laughs loudest. These days, when not pursuing other skaters to knock around the rink, she is pursuing a PhD at Harvard University, let's hope she catches it.
