Maine Roller Derby’s tournament, Skatecationland, is back again
Portland, Maine – June 2, 2025 – Maine Roller Derby (MRD) is hosting the second international Skatecationland tournament on June 14, 2025 at Happy Wheels in Westbrook, Maine. The tournament features the Lehigh Valley Roller Derby out of Bethlehem, PA and Boston Roller Derby from Boston, MA facing off against MRD’s All-Star Travel Team, the Port Authorities. The sanctioned games will affect MRD’s ranking in the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association’s Northeast region.
“We are so excited to host the second annual Skatecationland Roller Derby tournament,” said tournament director, Rachel “Cinderellbows” Casey. “Come see derby the way it should be: highly skilled, dynamic competition in a fun and celebratory atmosphere.”
Derby fans can expect a Saturday packed with roller derby action on June 14 at Happy Wheels. Three games will take place each day at 10:00 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.. Schedule and times are subject to change.
