Maine Roller Derby is Maine’s premier women’s flat track Roller Derby league and a proud member league of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA). We are an inclusive, volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to promote the sport of roller derby, maintain a competitive athletic program in WFTDA, and make a positive impact in our community. Roller Derby has become one of the fastest growing sports in history and we aim to keep the momentum going. We deliver a strong, positive, athletic image and are positive role models for our fans and the greater Southern Maine community. We are a welcoming and accepting community for people of every age, race, gender, creed, sexual orientation, and ability. The league is governed by a Board of Directors elected by members. Throughout its history, this all-volunteer organization has fostered the professional, personal, and athletic skill development of its league members by maintaining a competitive athletic program, promoting the sport of roller derby, and making a positive impact in our community.
