I tried out in September 2014

What I do off-skates? (hobbies, job, etc)

I do development work at a non-profit, row with Portland Community Rowing Association, make pottery, volunteer with a youth GSTA group, bike, cross country ski, fiddle, and make the occasional craft

Favorite post-practice snack?

Grapefruit!

What is your sports/skating background?

Not much! I’ve never really played team sports before, so this is a huge learning experience. As for skating, my only claim to fame was a pair of white and pink (unicorn bedazzled!) roller skates from a neighbor’s yard sale when I was a kid.

Do you have a pre-bout ritual?

I’m usually running around, so mostly I just want to be sure I’m on time…
